Millenium Trilogy

I finished reading The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest yesterday. The final book in the original millenium series. It was a good ending to the series. The prose wasn't Earth Shattering or made you really sit there and think but it was a good book that was fun to read.

Lisbeth Salander and Mikael Blomquist are two unique characters that have the the reader engaged in the story. I enjoyed the book and am going to watch the rest of the Swedish films soon.

One thing I wished is that they fleshed out the realtionship between Mikael and Figuerola (his gf) a little more. Mikael, a man who for two decades has slept with his friend a coworker is now putting that aside to be exclusive with a new woman. We should know a little more about their relationship and what makes it special enough for him to tell Berger that he no longer can be having an affair with her.

Also all the names get very confusing. Maybe its a little easier if you are Swedish.
